Diving deep into an embodied communal process, what an incredible evening we had dancing on August 16th, just a day after the full moon in Aquarius! A moon which beckoned us to see the beauty and perfection in chaos and disorder.

 The bright light of the sun in this astral configuration threw a spotlight on our subconscious and our shadow and though this can feel uncomfortable this full moon offered a strong  opportunity to purge.

 So our playlist went to more chaotic, shadowy places than normal, but there were heavenly moments of cool and smooth silence, where light beams and bells found us in the storm!

Exhilarating whether death or rebirth as the circle is never ending, the August butterfly has been encased in its cocoon so long that it’ll take some expansive dancing to realize it is a new butterfly, Trust your spiral!

A monthly event, we will be meeting again on Friday, September 20th in the hallowed space of the historic Odd Fellows building—which happens to feel very Brooklyn with its rounded windows, expansive wood floors and soaring ceilings!

Each dance set is 60-70 minutes and musically follows a wave-form starting very slow, gradually building to a peak and then coming back down to stillness.  We begin each dance in opening circle where I offer an invitation for exploration during the dance.
